OUR DIRECTORS

             Julie Nguyen

Dr. Julie Nguyen holds a BComm from Concordia University, a MA in Economics and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies and Asian Research both from the University of British Columbia (UBC). She was a consultant for the United Nations in Vietnam and a research associate at the Centre for Southeast Asia Research at UBC. Dr. Nguyen conducted her post-doctoral research at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and taught courses in Political Science and Asia-Pacific Studies at the University of Toronto. She is currently a college professor of international business in Toronto; Chair of Canada-ASEAN Initiatives at YCAR, York University; and Advisory Board member of the Organization of Women in International Trade OWIT-Toronto and of the Centre for Global Enterprise, Schulich School of Business.


       Elizabeth McIninch

Elizabeth McIninch is the president of MoodyPBS, a communications company specializing in high quality editorial work along with international business expertise. She has over 20 years experience working for the Government of Canada and several south-east Asian embassies in Ottawa, Canada. A proud Montrealer, she has edited eight bilateral friendship books, two of which were commissioned by the Embassy of Vietnam. More recently, Elizabeth has graduated from the University of Toronto’s OISE program with a specialization in business English.

       Femi Oloruntoba

Femi is a seasoned business development and strategic marketing leader with over 10-year experience delivering revenue growth and customer experiences through customer engagement, strategy development, and execution, new and reoccurring sales generation within the medical device, software, wholesale, construction sectors with high energy, analytics, and pragmatism. He is a co-founder and Chief Growth Officer at Esta Link Inc. Femi holds a Bachelor’s (Hons) in Chemistry, a Graduate Certificate in International Business Management from Centennial College (2011), and an Executive MBA from Cornell University and Queen’s University (2018) with a focus on international business, growth strategy and the re-engineering of a global enterprise.

             David Johnson

After a successful career as a public servant at Canada Revenue Agency and business management positions at Dun and Bradstreet (Canada) Ltd. and Norwich Union Life Insurance, David turned to his lifelong passion by coaching and mentoring post-secondary students to develop their personal and career potential. David was Chair of Business Programs in the Faculty of Business at Seneca College, and Dean of the School of Business at Centennial College. He has been active in delivering professional seminars in the area of leadership development for his clients. David holds a Bachelor of General Studies from Athabasca University, a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph and a PhD from LIGS University.
